Privacy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

We care about your privacy. This policy explains the information KCut may process for accounts, licensing, payments, Credits, online AI features, diagnostics, and support.

1. Information We Process

We may process account email, display name, membership status, Credits balance, device license information, app version, logs, crash or error reports, and text you intentionally submit to online AI features.

2. Local Media

By default, imported audio, video, subtitle, and project files remain on your device. Local transcription, voice generation, and export tasks are designed to run locally unless you choose an online feature that needs network processing.

3. Online AI Features

When you enable features such as subtitle correction, semantic segmentation, or translation, relevant text, timing data, and required context may be sent to our servers or model providers to complete the request, calculate Credits usage, and improve reliability.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by payment service providers such as Stripe and supported wallet providers. We do not store full card numbers or payment account passwords. We keep the transaction records needed to complete orders, membership status, and Credits delivery.

5. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect account, license, and transaction data. Please keep your password secure and avoid signing in on untrusted devices.

6. Optional Website Analytics

With your permission, our homepage uses Google Analytics to measure visits and installer download clicks. Events include the selected installer platform, architecture and version, website language, referral website, and limited campaign labels. A download click does not confirm that a download finished or that the app was installed. This website measurement does not include your KCut account, email, media, projects, or payment details.

Google Analytics receives technical connection information and uses cookies to distinguish visits. We do not load Google Analytics before you allow analytics, and we do not enable advertising personalization or Google signals. You can decline without affecting downloads, and change your choice using Analytics settings at the bottom of the homepage. We remember your choice on this browser for up to 180 days; analytics cookies are configured for 30 days. Global Privacy Control is treated as a refusal. Blocking analytics or declining means your visit and download clicks may not appear in our statistics.

Google processes data under its Privacy Policy. See also how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Return to the homepage to manage analytics settings.
